DiskStation DS414, equipped with 4 bays, 1.33 GHz dual-core processor, and FPU, supports multitasking operations. Along with RAID and redundant fans, DS414 includes 2 Gb NICs for failover, and link aggregation. Both support file sharing and provide 256-bit AES encryption on shared folders.
