NEMA Commends President Obama's Commitment to Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs)

NEMA's Evan R. Gaddis commended Obama administration for setting ambitious and achievable goal of continuing to use energy savings performance contracts (ESPCs) to upgrade energy efficiency of federal facilities. Specifically, President Barack Obama set goal for federal agencies to enter into $2 billion of ESPCs over the next 3 years. This adds specific target to his December 2013 announcement of continued ESPC use through 2016, bringing total commitment up to $4 billion since 2011.
