NEMA reaffirms electric lamp beam pattern standard.

NEMA reaffirmed ANSI C78.379-2006 American National Standard for Electric Lamps—Classification of the Beam Patterns of Reflector Lamps. Developed by the Accredited Standards Committee for Electric Lamps, standard describes a system for classification of beam patterns and beam angles of reflector lamps. A method of describing light output also is defined.
