NREL has developed a web-based tool to help users better understand energy performance of building-related products. The Technology Performance Exchange™ portal helps manufacturers and other organizations that measure and test products share performance data with product consumers. TPEx helps to reduce analysis uncertainty through use of data entry forms, which are standardized documents that identify minimum product-specific parameters needed to evaluate energy performance.
