Nashville home sales grow in August

That's the takeaway from the latest monthly checkup of the area's housing market, which the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors provided Monday. There were 3,226 homes sold last month, a 4.6 percent gain compared to sales activity the year before, in August 2013.
