By helping maintain consistent inlet pressures to downstream equipment, Type T99 regulator allows accurate control of distribution system pressures. This applies even in applications with widely varying flow rates and supply pressures as well as high inlet pressure and low flow control applications. Tight shutoff is provided by heavy main spring working through lever to provide seat loading force. Regulator loading pressure bleeds downstream through pilot via downstream control line.
