Netflix adds nearly 16 mln new customers in Q1, double its forecast

(Telecompaper) Netflix added 15.77 million new subscribers in the first quarter, more than double the 7 million forecast by the company as more people forced to stay at home due to the coronavirus outbreak turned to the streaming service. Netflix said it expects to return to more normal growth of 7.5 million net additions in the second quarter.� [ more ]
