Netflix speed index shows average speeds increasing in July

(Telecompaper) Netflix reported a general improvement in speeds in its July ISP Speed Index. The highest speeds for delivering the streaming service were recorded in Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Sweden, which all achieved an average of almost 4 Mbps. In total Netflix measures speeds in 41 countries. The slowest were the Philippines (1.99 Mbps), Costa Rica (1.96 Mbps) and India (1.78 Mbps).
