(Telecompaper) HTC is planning to introduce the HTC One Max, equipped with a fingerprint sensor, on 15 October, two people familiar with the matter said, reported The Wall Street Journal. The company has not unveiled which applications the fingerprint sensor will have or if it will be able to authorise app purchases or other transactions. The HTC One Max will run on the Google Android operating system and will feature a 5.9-inch display as well as features similar to the flagship HTC One, said one of the people familiar with the matter.
