New Jersey offers $29 million in breaks to save 545 jobs

New Jersey awarded tax breaks totaling $29.6 million Thursday, aimed at preventing two North Jersey companies from leaving the state with 445 jobs. The New Jersey Economic Development Authority awarded a $22 million grant to NICE Systems, Inc., a Paramus software company, if it moves its headquarters to Hoboken, and $7.6 million to FC USA, a Ramsey travel company, to move to Montvale.
