New car sales on the rise

According to Bradley McAreavy, President of the Rochester Automobile Dealers' Association, dealerships are coming off of last year's strong sales and are doing even better this year. The Rochester Business Journal reports Monroe County dealers sold 36,552 new cars and trucks in the first three quarters of 2014, which is up by five percent from the same time period last year.
