New car sales up again in April

There were 6375 new cars registered in April, up more than 200 on the same month last year and the highest since 1989. Sales continued their strong run in the month, with registrations so far this year up 7 per cent on last year, a gain of almost 3000 extra cars and commercial vehicles.
