Auto sales in North Carolina jumped 13 percent in the first quarter 2015 compared to the year prior, outpacing the national average and giving a boost to local car and truck dealers. Much of the auto sales growth across the state was among Toyota , Chrysler and Nissan dealers, which were up 19 percent, 16 percent and 12 percent respectively among the major auto makers in the first three months of the year, according to a report from the North Carolina Automobile Dealers Association.
