Chicago, with funding from the four major wireless carriers, has achieved a major amenity for transit users: 4G internet service along 22 miles of subway tracks in the CTA system. "They're not promising they'll get you to work on time in the morning, but the folks at the Chicago Transit Authority say they now have something nearly as good: fast Internet in the subway," according to an article by Greg Hinz.
