Beating analysts' expectations, car sales in the United States rose to a record high in almost ten years. As demand for new SUVs and Memorial Day promotions intensify, sales of cars and trucks totaled to 1.64 million, according to numbers from Autodata Corp. Figures in May showed that SUVs are the choice vehicles for consumers, with Honda selling more than 6,300 HR-V.
