Oakland: Whole Foods drops security firm after firing guard accused of attacking customer

After firing a security guard accused of beating a customer unconscious, Whole Foods Market on Saturday announced it has cut ties entirely with the security firm that had been patrolling its Oakland store. Contra Costa-based A.G.S. Private Security will be the store's new security firm, according to company spokeswoman Beth Krauss.
