Sun Times: Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell announced the move on Twitter, saying a new five-year plan "protects the Atlantic for future generations". Late a year ago the Obama administration cancelled 2016 and 2017 Arctic oil drilling lease sales. Big Oil had targeted our coasts, but President Obama has reversed his decision to open the Atlantic seaboard for offshore drilling. The reversal comes as Mr Obama looks to solidify his legacy on environmental issues, which includes a global agreement...
