Built to produce flat surfaces on large cast iron components, Walter M2025/M2026 are equipped with 16-edged octagonal peripheral inserts and three 4-edged wiper inserts. Basic wiper insert shape is negative, while cutting edge geometry is positive. Convex edge wiper inserts ensure maximum surface quality, all inserts are precision ground, and cutter bodies, likewise, feature precision insert seats. Cutting edges can be changed rapidly due to wedge clamping of octagonal inserts.
