Omantel unveils 4.5G and smart home services at Comex

(Telecompaper) Omantel has announced the launch of 4.5G services, which will provide internet services at up to 200 Mbps. The operator is participating in Comex, which is taking place at Oman International Exhibition Centre in Muscat from 27 April to 01 May. Omantel also unveiled its smart home technology, enabling customers to operate and control a set of home appliances remotely through the web. The service is being offered as a package for OMR 30 upfront with a monthly instalment added to the bill.
