Based on 28 nm process, S500 integrates quad-core ARM Cortex-A9R4 processor with NEON SIMD co-processor and Imagination PowerVR SGX544 GPU. This open platform, 32-bit SoC supports 2K @ 60 fps (1920 × 1200) LCD + 1080P HDMI dual-screen output and standard video decoding playback capabilities. Peripheral interfaces include multi-USBs, I²C, SPI, UART, I2S, PCM, SPDIF, MIPI DSI/CSI, HDMI, and Ethernet ports. Reference design platform, ActDuino S500, is also available.
