For the location in Darmstadt, Germany we are looking for a Oracle WebCenter Content Intranet Website Support Engineer fm at EUMETSAT. Tasks The consultant will contribute to the full life cycle of software development, maintenance and support for Website, Extranets and Intranet as part of a migration project to upgrade the existing sites from Oracle Stellent 7.6 to Oracle WebCenter Content 11g. Furthermore, the consultant will be responsible for administering the Oracle WebCenter Content and WebLogic servers used by the sites. The consultant will additionally contribute to the full life cycle of clientserver based COTS systems e.g. Discussion Forum, Blog. It is foreseen, that the detailed tasks of the consultant will include as a minimum Design, implement, maintain, test, administer and deliver updates of the existing Website, Extranets and Intranet based on Oracles WebCenter Content following the full application development cycle Design, implement, test and integrate HTMLbased web pages and dynamic pages and provide content contribution support for these pages Specify, customize, integrate and maintain clientserver based COTS systems and document the customisation and integration in the EUMETSAT environment Provide second level support for existing applications, systems and services Gather and document user and system requirements and constraints Document tasks and deliverables according to EUMETSAT working practices Perform the related quality assurance, configuration and change management activities Contribute to project planning and reporting Essential requirements In addition to having a university degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent, the consultant shall have as a prerequisite At least 5 years professional experience in developing, managing and administrating sites At least 3 years professional experience in developing sites and content with Oracle WebCenter Content, Site Studio and SSXA, preferably with release 11g Professional experience in JSP, JavaScript, Idoc Script, HTML5, XHTML, CSS, Ajax, XML, XSLT, PHP Experience in administration and configuration of Oracle WebCenter and WebLogic Experience in integrating systems with Web ServicesSOAP Knowledge of Apache, IIS Knowledge of Windows Proven experience in formal documentation, preferably in an ISO 9000 certified project and service environment The work requires a team player with the ability to work efficiently in a small team environment. The variety of the tasks requires a high degree of autonomy and the ability to take your own initiatives. Desirable skills In addition to the above requirements, experience knowledge in the following areas shall be considered a distinct advantage Knowledge of and experience with SQL, JSF, Java, Servlets Knowledge of LDAPAD , SMTP Knowledge of tag based web analytic tools and related analysis and other web statistics Knowledge of ITIL, in particular with respect to change and configuration management fundamentals and principles Other information Must be an EU national or possess a valid German Work Residence Permit Travel within Europe may be required Late night or weekend work might be required on rare occasions Foreseen start date is mid May 2013 To guarantee that your application is processed, please apply via our website httpwww.scisys.co.ukdewowirarbeitenspacekarrierespacejobs.html
