(Telecompaper) Orange Romania and Vodafone Romania announced a deal to share their network infrastructure. The agreement is consistent with customary practices in the industry, both within the EU and beyond, and is a natural evolution of the previous collaboration between the two operators for sharing sites, they said. The network sharing agreement will allow both companies to continue to invest at a sustained pace in developing technologies nationwide. The benefits resulting from this agreement will enable the two sides to invest in expanding their LTE coverage as well as in covering the so-called 'white areas' in rural parts of Romania.
