Australian Broadcasting Corporation: The effects of climate change will impact more severely on the economy of Papua New Guinea than any other in the Pacific, according to a new report by the Asian Development Bank. While rising temperatures will cause significant problems for agriculture throughout the region, the bank says climate change could trigger losses of up to 15 per cent in PNG's economy by the end of the century.
