Suitable for catheters that are exposed to bodily fluids for less than 30 days, Kynar Rx® 752 can melt extruded in single or multi-layers for catheter shafts and other medical tubing. Flexible, low-friction fluoropolymer is USP Class VI compliant and resistant to chemicals and temperatures, enabling medical devices to be chemical, autoclave, or irradiation sterilized. Product offers flexural modulus of 50,000 psi and dynamic coefficient of friction of 0.54, according to ASTM test methods.
