BusinessGreen: Bosch is to cease its solar operations at the end of the year after the division recorded losses of around EUR1bn in 2012.
In a statement released late last week the company said it had "tried unsuccessfully to achieve a competitive position", after being badly affected by the almost 40 per cent fall in solar module prices in the past year.
