Impervious to wide range of corrosive chemicals, 1709 Fire-Resistant Shelter protects critical safety equipment from exposure to high temperature fires in hazardous areas. Maintenance-free unit keeps contained equipment below 140°F for 90 min, even during rapid rise hydrocarbon fires that can reach 2,000°F within 5 min. Shelter is constructed from proprietary composite material comprising one or more layers of fire resistant mineral wool sandwiched between sheets of glass reinforced polyester.
