Pernod Ricard's Pringuet appointed SWA chairman

The Scotch Whisky Association has appointed Pernod Ricard 's outgoing CEO, Pierre Pringuet, as its new chairman, with the head of Diageo also joining the trade body. Pringuet will replace Edrington chief executive Ian Curle on 1 January, who is stepping down after his three-year term.
