Pesticide doesn't stop tick-borne diseases, CDC says

A federal study that looked at the effectiveness of pesticides in controlling tick-borne diseases found that insecticides reduced the number of ticks in people's yards but not the rate of disease, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
