Suitable for prototyping and quantity production, Photochemical Etching Service produces complex flat metal parts in stainless steels, brass, nickel alloys, beryllium copper, phosphorous bronze, kovar, inconel, DCB substrates, and aluminum alloys. Parts measuring 0.02 x 0.02 in. can be made with thicknesses from 0.0005–0.030 in. Typical applications include micro meshes/grids, gimbal springs, fluidic channels, reticles, RFI/EMI/ESD board level shielding, and heat sinks.
