Pittsburgh region home sales fall in September

Homebuyers in the Pittsburgh region spent $7 million less on real estate in September than in September 2013, and the region's median home price fell from $139,900 last year to $137,000 last month, according to RealSTATs, a South Side-based real estate information service. Builders also brought in $9 million less in September compared to the same month last year.
