With average pore size of 2 microns and mean flow pore of 0.7 microns, USM Filter Cartridges are suitable for fresh, brackish, or salt waters. Proprietary, electrodsorptive media technology is capable of removing submicron pathogens and inorganic contaminants through electro-adhesion and ion exchange. Media consists of coated micro-glass fibers that is produced using wet laid nonwoven manufacturing technology. For strength and pleat support, base media is laminated between layers of spun-bond.
