Polymer Waveplates (Retarders) transmit light while modifying its optical polarization state and do not attenuate, deviate, or displace beam. Birefringent polymer film, layered between 2 glass windows, increases durability and handling. Available in ¼ and ½ λ retardance, Retarders act as true zero order waveplates and are available with multiple wavelengths or achromatic designs. Models come in 405, 488, 532, 560, 633, and 650 nm wavelengths in ¼ wave or ½ wave varieties.
