Post Office predicts record holiday shipping, UPS also to benefit

The U.S. Postal Service expects to ship a record 15 billion pieces of mail and packages between Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve, and Atlanta-based UPS also expects to benefit from more shipping, reports 24/7 Wall St. The increase expected by the Postal Service is a surge of 12 percent from last holiday season.
