Constructed of proprietary polyester mesh with uniform micron openings and treated with hydrophobic water repellant process, Pre-Filters prevent larger particles of debris such as rubber, dirt, and sand from getting into and clogging pleats of air filter elements. Units catch particles as small as .005 in., extending filter life. Designed to fit over existing under-the-hood filter as well as cabin filter, pre-filters can be used over and over as they are cleaned with soap and water.
