Processing plant expansion causing concern for neighbors

Neighbors of a soybean processing plant in Des Moines said plans to expand the facility, which already is the largest producer of hazardous air pollution in Polk County, have heightened their concerns about its potentially harmful health issues. Residents said they're worried the toxic emissions and particulates released by Archer Daniels Midland could negatively impact their families.
