Space Applications Services performs space system and software engineering for the European Space Agency ESA, National Space Agencies and the space industry. We are involved in international unmanned and manned spacecraft programmes. We require staff, wishing to join our team to work in a dynamic international environment for the following position Project Administrator for Russian Liaison ENGSERVSRE201424 Tasks and Responsibilities The work will be performed at the European Space Research and Technology Centre ESTEC Noordwijk, The Netherlands, in the ExoMars programme. You will have the following responsibilities Support the Russian liaison for the ExoMars 2016 Mission and 2018 Mission Establish and maintain the documentation configuration of joint RussianEuropean project baseline and be the focal point for dissemination and receipt of all documentation at the RussianEuropean interface Facilitate and contribute to the establishment of bilingual baseline documents as well as to contribute to the document change process in the frame of the RussianEuropean cooperation Facilitate actions tracking, followup on action closure and provide relevant reports and statistics Contribute to the maintenance of the ESA data and document management systems, monitor the adherence to document management standards and requirements, such as document reference numbering and versioning Support the tracking and control of nonconformances, request for waivers, review item discrepancies Provide technical communication support for project meetings, teleconferences, data exchange via FTP servers and other adhoc communications Support regular visits to Russian facilities supporting the establishment of common approaches between Russian and European engineering teams on technical and programmatic issues of the ExoMars missions Support and facilitate the drafting and approval of bilingual documents Prepare bilingual Minutes of Meetings, reports on site visits, and report on the progress of the developing RussianEuropean cooperation Assist in the establishment of RussianEuropean technical and programmatic interfaces within the ExoMars programme and its various mission elements ground segment, spacecraft, payload, launcher including supporting the establishment of the relevant interface documentation Assist in the identification of potential problem areas and proposing mitigation actions, preparing reports as required Assist in other activities as required within the domain of the ExoMars Project Russian interface administration Support the Head of the ExoMars Project Control Section in executing his duties. Qualifications, Experience and Skills Applicants should have a Master degree in Engineering and several years experience in Configuration Management in space companies and ESA. Furthermore, candidates should have following experience and skills Experience in RussianEuropean cooperation in the frame of technology development projects Good working background in RussianEuropean translation services and the ability to establishutilize advanced realtime translation techniques Fundamental understanding of contract and documentation management, risk and change management and other disciplines related to the tasks described above Willingness to travel and stay for a longer duration at the ExoMars Russian partners premises Fluency in English and Russian is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
