An excellent opportunity has just arisen, in the space sector, to join our team at Thorn SDS. Based on our client site in Darmstadt, Germany, the key candidate shall provide project management support to the development of the ground segment of the satellite system. This role offers personal career progression, based in a large international organisation alongside industry experts. The successful candidate shall have the ability to analyse complex situations, identify critical areas and produce accurate and concise analyses, recommendations and synthesis. Along with a university degree, applicants require knowledgeexperience in each of the following areas A minimum of 3 years experience performing project management activities, preferably on a large and complex development projects in the aerospace or similar domain. Ability to make synthesis from various written or verbal inputs. Computer literate with a good understanding with MS office software. Knowledgeexperience in any of the following areas would be considered advantageous Certification in project management disciplines Knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures and processes Knowledge of systems development lifecycle Experience of Ground Segment development andor Earth Observation systems Candidates shall have the ability to work well autonomously whilst prioritising workload and meeting deadlines.
