These are two permanent positions, calling for at least five years experience of project planning, scheduling, monitoring and control. Successful applicants will be placed on an assignment based near Frankfurt in Germany for several years and should ideally be available to start in May. Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation satellite programmes with associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. Vast quantities of data are produced and user communities throughout the world are able to access both current and historical data sets. The demanding realtime environment places much emphasis on adherence to quality and configuration management standards and procedures. The main working language is English. The roles will provide project support across multiple complex programmes. The key experience and attributes sought are At least 5 years proven handson experience in project planning, scheduling, monitoring and control Extensive handson experience in schedule preparation, monitoring and control, for large, complex system programmes or multiproject environments as well as in planning and monitoring allocated Human Resources, including planning conflict resolution Expert level usage of Microsoft Project or similar project scheduling, planning and management tools Extensive handson experience of the Microsoft Office suite and in particular Word and Excel. Direct experience of scheduling for space segment programmes or ground segment development and operations will be considered as an advantage. Candidates should possess a University degree or equivalent preferably in a management or engineering discipline. Fluency in English is essential.
