HE Space is a successful international space company. For over 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for a QA Lead Inspector to support our customer in Germany. QA Lead Inspector Key Tasks and Responsibilities You are the group leader of a team of QA Inspectors, have the lead in subject matters and coordinate this team. You act as the interface to the AIT Team of the project, you report internally to the product assurance manager of a space project and to the customer representatives onsite. You work independently at accredited testing facilities and at the premises of subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include Organization and guidance for the Receiving Inspections and of inprocess inspections of manufacturing and assembly and integration Control and inspection of the AIT activities, with lead of the project QA team Regular control of the logbooks and all related content of the logbooks. Guidance for the AIT team to perform the product related documentation tasks Organization and Support of Test Readiness Reviews and Post Test Reviews Support of Environmental Tests as responsible QA Representative for Equipment, Subsystems and entire Satellite Systems Performance of MIPs Mandatory Inspection Points Performance of KIPs and InProcess Inspections Responsible for the delivery of the QA documentation of the team. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Completed vocational training as technician or Bachelors Degree Experience in leading and coordinating a small team Experience in performing inspections, preferably in the aerospace field Knowledge of quality methods in manufacturing and testing Ability to make decisions with consideration of customer requirements and opinions Teamorientation and openmindedness Fluency in English and the ability to communicate on complex technical matters Experience with working in cleanrooms Cleanliness class ISO 8ISO 5 desirable Knowledge of ECSSStandards, especially ECSSQST10 und 20 advantageous Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
