HE Space is a successful international space company. For over 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for two RF Payload Engineers to support our customer in the Netherlands. RF Payload Engineers 2 positions In this role you will be working in ESAs Directorate of Technical and Quality Management at ESTEC and providing support to the Payload Engineering Section. You will have the following responsibilities Key Tasks and Responsibilities Participation to the definition, specification, design, procurement and verification of the Navigation Payload System activities Support the segment and intersegment project activities, and reviews covering the Navigation Payload System activities Contribution to the industrial monitoring of Navigation Payload activities in critical areas. Participation to Acceptance Reviews Contribution to the Payload System Design Engineering activities in the area of Interface Engineering, Performance Assessments and Simulations, including support to InOrbit testing to validate performances Contribution to the Payload System Verification and Validation Engineering activities, in particular Thermal Vacuum Testing to validate performances Acting as the Payload focal coordinator for the Payload System Performance engineering activities, and for the Time Keeping Subsystem engineering activities Contribution to the early identification of problem areas and participate in their resolution in NonConformance, Anomaly and Engineering Boards Regular reporting to the Payload Manager. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in Electronic EngineeringTelecommunication Engineering or a related field Good background in design, simulation, manufacturing and testing payloads and payload equipment with emphasis on payload system and interface engineering Substantial experience in phase ABCD projects A broad background and interest in multiple domains such as RF and Digital Signal Processing is an asset Experience in the Radio Navigation domain would be an asset Candidates must be eligible for security clearance by their national security administration Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
