Rain flattens new-car sales in May

Sales of new cars and trucks last month remained flat as heavy rains in the Dallas-Fort Worth area kept customers at home. Dealers in two counties - Dallas and Tarrant - reported modest increases, while new-vehicle sales in Collin and Denton counties were flat or fell, according to The Freeman Metroplex Recap .
