It employs some 40,000 employees generating revenues of approximately 14 billion per year. A vacancy for a ReacherMaritime Technical Trainer has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Oakhanger. You will assist the Training Manager in Training Development, Training Delivery and Training Administration associated with courses delivered to Airbus Defence And Space CIS customers and internal Airbus Defence And Space CIS and Subcontractor personnel. The successful candidate will be subject to security clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Conduct Training Needs Analysis to determine Training Gap and develop training options through a process of operational task and cost benefit analysis for new customer requirements. Development of Training Plans, Instructional Specifications and bespoke training material. Provide the necessary capability to enable the Training Manager to support multiple management activities in support of Service Delivery. Develop and submit training bids and high level training solutions into the customer bid process. Attend Phase Review meetings on behalf of the Training Manager and identify potential training implications and risks. Collaborate with Product Development, Operations, and Service Management to obtain information required to develop training materials on all aspects of the service. Conduct reviews of all Training material and Training delivery ensuring the Customer is receiving Training Courses that conform to Airbus Defence And Space CISs quality ethos. Maintain all relevant training materials and ensure quality and consistency across the full scope of learning activities. Incorporates motivating, creative, and interactive training techniques to enhance the training experience, in an effort to maximise learning and retention and ensures new training methodologies are incorporated into the Airbus Defence And Space CIS training approach Carry out course monitoring and evaluation, by ensuring the collection of completed participants course feedback reports and completion of a training report at the end of each training course. Review and update Airbus Defence And Space CISs Service Catalogue. Be able to respond to a wide variety of learning and development functions including coaching and mentoring and on the job training for internal and deployed personnel. There may be a requirement to deploy overseas and in CONDO areas to provide supplementary intheatre training for MoD and Airbus Defence And Space CISSERCO personnel. There may be a requirement to provide On Call activities to enable the delivery of services to the MoD. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience ONC or HNC in Telecommunications Engineeringtechnical background. Experience in Transportable Satcom terminal. Recent experience of MoD deployed operations overseas would be desirable. Knowledge of Reacher Maritime Communication Systems. Knowledge of IP preferably Cisco. Knowledge of Satcom systems. Previous experience of technical training delivery and development would be desirable. Training Design on Satellite Communications and Baseband Equipment. Training Development and course delivery on Satellite Communications and Baseband Equipment. Conversant in the Defence Systems Approach to Training Quality Standard.
