Recipharm adds French plant and drug delivery tech in strategic deal with Flamel

Recipharm will acquire a facility and add technologies including spray granulation and spray coating as part of a "truly strategic" collaboration with France-based Flamel Technologies. The deal announced this morning will see the Sweden-headquartered contract development and manufacturing organisation pay a 10.6m for Flamel's development and manufacturing facility in Pessac, France, and a further a 10.5m to acquire a 2.3% stake in the company.
