B&G Foods Inc. , which makes snack foods and Cream of Wheat cereal, may be close to a deal to acquire General Mills Inc.'s Green Giant vegetable business. Reuters reports that Parsippany, N.J.-based B&G is in late-stage discussions with General Mills , according to unnamed sources familiar with the matter.
