Retail sales exceed $2 billion in Santa Clarita

Retail sales helped push the city of Santa Clarita up one more notch on the annual ranking of California's largest retail markets, again landing it in a small circle of cities generating in excess of $2 billion a year, according to a newly released report. In a study of 482 cities in 58 California counties, only 37 cities had retail markets that exceeded the $2 billion mark.
