The vote won't come until Tuesday night, but the chance of City Council approving a controversial $8 million plan to renovate part of the former Taylor University campus on Rudisill Boulevard is looking like a long shot. With John Shoaff, D-at large already saying he intends to oppose Brightpoint's "Enterprise Pointe" project and Glynn Hines, D-6th, expected to abstain because he works for Brightpoint, five of the remaining seven council members would have to agree to rezone the site for the project to proceed.
