Rogers and Vice Media team up in $100-million deal to create Canadian TV network

Rogers Communications Inc. and Vice Media are teaming up on a Canadian production studio, which will make news and entertainment content aimed at young people. In a release announcing the $100-million deal Thursday, Rogers and Vice said they plan to make content for mobile devices and the web, in addition to producing a Canadian Vice TV network for distribution throughout Canada.
