Serco Nederland BV is looking for Software Engineer to support Web software application development and administration Software development, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair Development of the new application and Operations and Maintenance Interaction with internal and external customers on a professional level Task Overview Define software application objectives by analysing user requirements Prepare and develop solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming Adapt the application to new requirements as necessary Testing the software application in controlled, real situations before going live Compile and write documentation of application development and subsequent revisions Support end users by writing instructions or manuals and perform training sessions Maintain the system once it is operational Troubleshoot software incidents Qualifications and Requirements Applicants require a University degree or equivalent, Masters preferred, in a relevant subject together at least 3 years experience in an international environment Experience in the following fields is required Broad experience in web application development and administration Proficiency with all aspects of the software development process including requirements gathering, design, and implementation, debugging, and testing Web User Interface Design Software Documentation Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, additional EU languages could be an asset If you believe you have the skills and experience for the above post, please submit your application via our eRecruitment website. httpswww.amris.comsercorequirementdisplay.php?refSearchrequirementid44947 Mandatory Applicants must hold a current valid work permit for the Netherlands or be EU nationals.
