SUPERVALU declined more than 15% Wednesday after a challenging quarter that saw competition intensify and sales decline. Q3 sales fell from $4.23 billion last year to $4.11 billion this year with same-store sales declining in all divisions, including -3.4% at Save-A-Lot.
