The GomSpace Group, headquartered in Denmark, is running satellite operations in Luxembourg. GomSpace is a nanosatellite specialist established over 10 years ago, listed in Stockholm and with a very good track record in the market for nanosatellites. You will be responsible for daytoday planning and operations of multiple satellite missions incl. both GomSpaces inorbit demonstration satellites and our customers missions including upcoming satellite mega constellations. You will be working as part of a small operations team interfacing tightly with the local RD team for supporting continuous improvements to the operational tools and systems being used, and with technical experts across the GomSpace Group to optimize the results of operations for missions. This role is based in Luxembourg. You will be part of a growing multinational organization with the ambition to disrupt the statusquo of satellite operations. The Job Incluces the Following Set of Tasks Execution of daytoday operations Preparing operational plans for satellites and associated infrastructure e.g. ground stations Analysing system performance, suggesting and implementing improvements Customization of operations through script development We expect the Employee to Have the Following Qualifications B.Sc. Or M.Sc. in IT, aerospace, electronics or similar Experience with highlevel programming languages, e.g. Python A basic understanding of space missions and technology Methodical and structural approach to work Preferential Qualifications Experience with satellite operations, e.g. through a cubesat project Good data analytic skills, i.e. being reliable and able to evaluate large ambiguous data sets Working experience in Agile Scrum DevOps teams.
